Reformation Gospel Ministries invites you to the Gospel in the Park. This is a monthly evangelism meeting for the community of Sioux Center and its neighbor towns. The first Gospel in the Park will be Saturday, June 1st from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Sioux Center Central park band shell. Rev. Richard Stetler will be delivering a gospel message answering the question Is There Any Hope?

Rods N’ Rides

Date: June 2, 2019

Time: 7:30 AM

Community Events

The first Rods N’ Rides of the season will start Sunday, June 2 leaving the Centre Mall parking lot in Sioux Center at 7:30 a.m. and traveling to the Pierson Ranch campground at Yankton South Dakota for a 10:30 outdoor worship service. If possible, please bring a lawn chair or blanked as there is limited seating on site.

Car Seat Safety Check-up

Date: June 3, 2019

Time: 4-7 PM

Car Seat Safety Check-up

Sioux Center Health is hosting a free car seat safety check-up on Monday, June 3 from 4-7 pm at the Sioux Center health north parking lot. Their certified car seat technicians will walk parents through a safety checklist of child’s age, size, condition of the seat, and help determine proper car seat installation.

Golf Tournament

Date: June 5, 2019

Time: 6:00 PM

Location: Rolling Hills Golf Club

There will be a two person best shot 9-hole golf tournament on Wednesday, June 5, at 6:00 pm at the Rolling Hills Golf Club in Hull. There is a $15.00 per person entry fee. Call 439-2150 to enter.

Porter Union

Community Events

Orange City Arts’ summer concert series Onstage Orange City opens on June 5th with rising country western duo Porter Union. The duo met singing karaoke and in 2018 made their television debut. They will be performing at 7:00 pm in downtown Windmill Park. Admission is free and audiences are able to purchase lawn chairs at the event or bring their own.

Open House

Date: June 6, 2019

Community Events

The Community is invited to an Open House at the Regency Retirement Residence at 1900 S Main in celebration of their recent renovation. Refreshments will be served and apartments will be open for viewing from 9-11 am; 2-4 pm; and 6-8 pm on Thursday, June 6.

9/11 Mobile Exhibit

The American Legion Post 199 of Sioux Center presents the 9/11 Never Forget mobile exhibit. It will be coming to Sioux Center during their summer celebration Starting June 6 at 3:00 pm. Come to see what happened in New York City during 9/11 guided by firefighters who were on duty the day of the attack. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation offers free admission to the public, but donations are welcomed.

Outdoor Skills Day

Date: June 6, 2019

Location: Sandy Hollow

Community Events

Do you love to hike, kayak, shoot archery, and use a slingshot? Then this fun filled day is for you! This and more is set for Thursday, June 6 and will run from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm. The event takes place at the picnic shelter in Sandy Hollow. Sessions for the day include air rifles, archery, canoeing, hiking, catfishing, deer hunting, and more! Lunch and prizes are provided by the Sioux County Sportsmen’s club. You must pre-register for this event online. For questions, Call the Environmental Education Department 712-552-3057.

Bethel Summer Celebration Fundraiser

The Bethel Summer Celebration Fundraiser is coming up June 7 serving from 5-8 pm. It will take place on the street north of Bethel along the Cruise Loop. They will be serving Steak Sandwiches, hot dogs, potato salad, chips, and pop. A free will donation will be received.


Interdenominational Church Services
