A storm system is bringing to an end the streak of above normal temperatures. This system will produce some snow, and it could be heavy in places. KDCR Meteorologist Mark Buker says the forecast amounts might be a little less than what he anticipates.
Buker says the snow from this system will spread across several states.
Buker says one part of the storm will bring the cold, and the other will generate moisture of varying types
That part of the storm system will bring snow from the available moisture… Buker says around 3.5 inches of snow are possible here, and up to 6 inches elsewhere in the band. A swatch across Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin could contain anywhere from ½ inch of snow to 6 inches.
