“Do You Want to be an Insect?” Hike

The Sioux County Conservation board is sponsoring a “Do You Want to be an Insect?” hike with Dordt professor and entomologist Jeremy Hummel. The walk will take place June 22nd at 2:30 pm in Oak Grove Park. No registration is required and the hike is open to all ages. Hikers will be armed with nets and ziplock bags for a catch and release hike. Hikers will meet at the Deer Run Campground Cabins and will be provided with nets and bags. The trail is not stroller friendly, and hikers will provide their own bug spray, sunscreen, and water bottle. The hike is cancelled in case of rain.
