Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds said Wednesday that Iowan’s need to get on with their lives. At the same time the number of hospitalizations for COVID-19 is on the rise.
She says hospital capacity is not being overloaded with the wave of new cases.
Gov Reynolds continues to urge compliance with CDC guidelines, including wearing masks, social distancing, washing hands and cleaning surfaces. She will not mandate these things, as other states have done, saying Iowans will follow these guidelines voluntarily.
